How to block out negative energy

How to block out negative energy

When it comes to the quest of finding my value and reconnecting with my own self, loving myself and treating myself well, it sure comes with a new awareness of negative energy all around. It’s with people you know, on the news, in magazines, on social media, it’s literally ALL AROUND 🤯

Negative energy is something that was hard to understand for me before, because most often I thought and was taught for it to be normal. You know those “this is what life is like, it sucks”-kinda mantras?

I have gone through so much and still I was able to complain about the little things, but in my heart of hearts, I want to believe I’m a pretty positive minded person.

I try to block out negative energy by doing these things that seem to help:

  • limit screen time
  • Have my phone on “do not disturb” and put out notifications
  • Do guided meditations
  • Tell myself that this energy IS not mine. It just is around me and I can shoo it away
  • I recite affirmations to reprogram my mindset and beliefs

I hope it helps you to know that it’s not easy to get rid of your negative beliefs, but that there’s an entire lovely life ahead of you filled with positivity!

I believe there is 💜
