Hey my Loves 💜
I started this painting last week and started painting aimlessly, using different brushes. With these paintings I’m actually having the most weird (in a good way) experience 💜
The print is going to be A5 and will have a lot more stars and lights. It’ll online tomorrow evening 8.30 PM CEST on my shop and will be on Instagram at 8.45PM CEST so tomorrow (Wednesday 17th June)
Background story on this illustration and the series: I love looking at the night sky. and I used to imagine being at a very dark part outside a fairytale forest, at the far and right on top of a hill. And the stars are magestically shining bright like fireflies and glitter. There are lights coming through the colorful, cotton-candy clouds and there’s a huge, relaxing feeling that is flowing over me. Because in all silence, in all peacefulness, in all serenity, surrounded by beauty, my mind would be completely empty.
The series is going to be called the Dreamy series. As the circle illustrations are bits and pieces of everyday life, this series is going to dive into the deepest, dreamiest pits of my imagination. I already have so many ideas in mind that I have to let go on my canvas. It’s going to be a journey, and I can’t wait to take you with me 🌈
